24 Feb IMMERSE: A Festival of the Senses through Digital, Visual, and Performing Arts
By Mrs. Mary Elenore San Jose
The MAPEH-TLE Area holds its annual event every February to celebrate the talents and creativity of our young ICAns. This week-long festival is an opportunity to showcase their faith, excellence, and service through their projects, outputs, and performances. This year, despite the various challenges encountered in ODL, such as limited sessions and encounters, the pupils were able to commit to developing their skills and honing their talents through their enthusiasm and active participation.
The MAPEH-TLE Week celebration entitled “IMMERSE: A festival of the senses through digital, visual, and performing arts” is dedicated to our dear pupils whose hardwork and dedication in expressing themselves and creating their outputs were manifested in their exemplary works and performances. The highlight of the event is the first-ever virtual exhibition of the best works of the ICAns done in their respective MAPEH-TLE classes and their clubs. This virtual exhibit was launched on February 15 and was made available for viewing by the ICA community until February 19.
The celebration also featured online entrepreneurship talks for grade 6 pupils by parent-entrepreneurs as resource speakers and art contests for the pupils of the lower grade levels. The activities were well received, as apparent by the excitement, positive feedback, and encouraging responses from the various members of the ICA community.
