12 Mar Art and TLE Area Celebrates the Arts Month

On February 20-22, 2018, the ART and TLE Area of both the High School and Grade School Departments had their exhibits.  The exhibits were in celebration of the National Arts Month which is celebrated every February.

The High School’s exhibit, entitled “My Filipino HeART, Inspiring ICANs through Culture and Art”, featured the works of Contemporary Arts, Applied Fashion and Design Technology, Home Arts and Culinary Arts students. An “Honesty Store” was set up; adult coloring sheets and Filipino delicacies were sold there without people manning the store.  

For the Grade School, the theme was “Ani ng Sining, Alab ng Sining”.  The exhibit was a collaborative work of the ART and TLE teachers that showcased the different skills and talents of the Grades 2 to 6 pupils.  Aside from the exhibit, the Grade 6 students had a food sale while the Grade 5 had their craft sale. An On-the-Spot poster making contest was held for selected Grades 5 and 6 students and a Craft making contest was also held for Grade 4 students.
