Undoubtedly, the educational objectives of the Immaculate Conception Academy (ICA) provide an integral approach towards a strong and relevant institutional program which is meant primarily to advocate for holistic community development. One concrete manifestation of such effort is the adoption of the pillars of Justice and Peace, Ecological Integrity, Engaged Citizenship, Poverty Alleviation/Reduction, Gender Equality and Youth Empowerment within the school’s curriculum. The JEEPGY framework, insofar as the vision of CEAP is concerned, advocates for Catholic values that foster an unwavering commitment to the shared goal of bringing genuine change in our present-day society. Of course, in an academic setting like ICA, this is supposed to start within the dynamics of classroom instruction.  

Last March 30, 2021 the entire High School department celebrated the culmination of this school year’s TED JEEPGY program via MS Teams.  It was both a joyous and grateful moment for everyone. Joy in the context of talents that are shared to manifest the giftedness of all participants. Gratitude because of the learnings and wisdom that are continuously transforming the institution’s brand of education. The CLE Area, in coordination with the ICAMO office, has prepared an hour-long video presentation to highlight the aforementioned moments. Through the said medium, the presenters for each grade level shared their respective accomplishments vis-à-vis the JEEPGY pillars.  It also provided a much-needed encouragement to everyone to keep the spirit of the said program relevant even in the midst of various social concerns and complications. Indeed, it was an event worth celebrating in the same way that the reason for the celebration is worth keeping.
