19 Aug Mommy’s Girl 2019

To usher in the application period of Pre-Kindergarten and Kindergarten pupils in ICA, a school tour for daughters and granddaughters of alumnae was held last July 31, 2019. On its second year, Mommy’s Girl provides a venue for alumnae to look inside and be updated with the latest developments in ICA. This year, 14 families joined the tour.
Β After a short introduction by fellow alumna Ms. Lizanne Liong of the Office of Institutional Relations, the group toured around some parts of the school like the pre-elementary area, the Delia Tetreault Arts and Sports Center, the GS Computer Laboratories, and the GS Library. The adults proceeded to the Archives while the children stayed in the library in the care of the teachers who gave them a glimpse of preschool life in ICA. It began with a prayer, then a story, proceeded with a dance number, before ending with an art activity.
They joined their parents afterwards and proudly showed their work and reward. It was indeed a happy day for all. One alumna shared her feelings of nostalgia, another one commented that it was great to see many ICAns working in ICA, and many expressed their approval and gratitude for the event. Thank you to everyone for making it a success!
