ICA Community Extends Help to Affected Communities of Typhoon Odette through Task Force ICAn

Super Typhoon Rai or locally known Odette was the strongest storm that hit the country for the year 2021, specifically in the islands of Visayas and Mindanao. Last December 2021, Odette brought severe rains, strong winds, landslides, and storm surges. This super typhoon caused significant damages to homes, properties, and livelihood. Many families were displaced with little to no access to basic needs.
Through the support of the different members of the ICA community in the fundraiser spearheaded by the Task Force ICAn, the following beneficiaries were given cash assistance for their relief operations providing basic goods to our affected brothers and sisters:
As of March 2022, the Task Force ICAn continued reaching out to certain dioceses to assist them in their rehabilitation projects like rebuilding of homes and chapels.Β
