14 Days of Prayer for Peace

The Grade School Department held a 14 Days of Prayer for Peace in response to the call of the Catholic Educational Association of the Philippines (CEAP) to dedicate some days for silence, prayer, conversations and actions in promoting peace.  This is to make everyone in the community be more aware of the urgency to understand the need for peace not only for Marawi but in everyone’s heart.

The activities during these days were participated by the whole department beginning with the Grade 1 pupils to Grade 6 students.  Teachers not only inspired and facilitated the works of their students, they also willingly signed up for the daily recitation of the Holy Rosary as well as in the day long vigil prayer before the Blessed Sacrament last July 31, 2017.  All for peace.

The 14 Days of Prayer for Peace culminated in a Eucharistic celebration last August 4, 2017.  The Mass was presided by our very own Parish priest, Fr. Guy Peter Guibelondo, SJ.
